Pick the club that is costing you shots
You do not have to fit the whole bag at once, and most people should not. Start with the club you dread pulling and see what a session actually changes.
Which session should you book?
The honest shortcut: whichever club produces the shot you replay in your head on the drive home. If that is a tee shot, book the driver. If it is a wedge from ninety yards that came up thirty short, book the wedges. Golfers who cannot pick one usually belong in a two-category block or a full bag.
Call and describe the shot if you want a second opinion before spending money. Nobody here earns commission on the answer.
Driver
Ninety minutes. Weight, length, flex profile, loft, face angle, and head. The category where golfers are most often playing something too long and too stiff for the swing they have now.
Driver sessions →Irons
Ninety minutes. Shaft, length, lie, set flow, and grip across the whole set. Lie work is included rather than billed per club afterward.
Iron sessions →Fairway woods
Sixty minutes. The most neglected clubs in most bags, and frequently the biggest single gain available off tight Lowcountry lies.
Fairway wood sessions →Hybrids & gap clubs
Sixty minutes. Covers the stretch between your longest reliable iron and your shortest wood, including whether that gap needs one club or two.
Hybrid sessions →Wedges
Seventy-five minutes. Loft gapping, bounce and grind for the turf you actually play, and a written distance map for partial swings.
Wedge sessions →Putter
Sixty minutes. Length, lie, loft, head weight, balance, and grip — run on a real green surface, not a carpet strip.
Putter sessions →Longer and shorter blocks
Whole bag, top to bottom — $395
Driver through putter in one sitting with the gapping solved as a set. Worth it when more than two categories are in question, or when you are rebuilding after a long layoff. There is a break in the middle and a fresh pot of coffee.
Two-category block — $245
Any two of the sessions above. Driver plus irons is the common pairing; wedges plus putter is the one that quietly saves the most strokes.
Junior sizing — $75, under 17
Height, wrist-to-floor, strength, and an assessment of what they are currently swinging. Priced low on purpose because a growing kid needs this about once a year, and cut-down adult clubs teach bad habits that outlast the clubs.
Spec check & tune-up — $45
For clubs we built or fitted previously. Loft and lie verified against the original sheet, grips inspected, swing weight re-checked, small adjustments made while you wait.
Sessions we deliberately do not sell
There is no "quick fit," no fifteen-minute launch monitor check, and no free fitting attached to a purchase. Every one of those exists to move inventory, and none of them produce a specification you can rely on.
What every session includes
- One golfer in the bay for the whole block — no stacked appointments.
- Baseline measurement of the clubs you already own, before anything changes.
- A printed specification sheet you keep, whether or not you build here.
- The session fee credited against a build placed within ninety days.
- Sixty days of free adjustment on anything that leaves our bench.
